The Job Summary
Our client is looking for a Senior Plant Accountant to join their health care manufacturing operation. The role comes at an important transition point for the plant.
Your Responsibilities
- Management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Cost Accounting
- Posting to GL
- Vendor payables management
- Variance and inventory analysis
- Month end reconciliations and accruals
- Provide financial information and leadership to site management
What you need
- Accounting Designation (CA, CMA or CGA)
- Post-secondary degree in business or accounting
- 5+ years of financial management or costing experience
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (JD Edwards would be a very strong asset)
- Strong communication skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience in food, drugs or cosmetics manufacturing, and familiarity with GMP practices, would be a strong asset
- Knowledge US GAAP would be an asset
